Baraona Fischer Spiess structures financing for biggest Hospital concession
On November 30th, the transaction to finance the project granted by a syndicate of creditors to Consorcio de Salud Oriente S.A. Sociedad Concesionaria (CSSO) up to the maximum amount of approximately US $ 375 million was closed. Its objective was granting the financing for the construction of the Hospital del Salvador and the National Institute of Geriatrics.
The financing of the project was structured by Itaú Corpbanca, who also participated as creditor with Santander Chile, Banco Consorcio, Banco Security, China Construction Bank Agency in Chile, Metlife Chile Seguros de Vida S.A. and Life Insurance Company Consorcio Nacional de Seguros S.A. The Baraona Fischer Spiess team acted as legal advisor for the structuring and the creditors. Raúl Marshall, partner of BFS, led the operation along with the attorneys Rodolfo Vega, Jean Marie Miquel, Trinidad Sáenz and Catalina Wastavino.
