USD 147 million investment fund for 28 photovoltaic plants

Rockville Capital agreed with institutional and qualified investors, the creation of a USD 147 million  fund in order to purchase of 28 small and medium photovoltaic plants (or PMGD, for its initials in Spanish, and which produce up to 9 MW each), called Fondo de Inversión Rockville Solar Energy I. Together, the PMGDs will add an installed capacity of 145 MW to inject into the national electricity system, being one of the largest renewable energy investment funds of its kind.

Fondo de USD 147 millones para la construcción de 28 plantas fotovoltaicas

Rockville Capital acordó con inversionistas institucionales y calificados, la creación de un fondo por USD 147 millones cuyo objetivo es la compra de 28 plantas fotovoltaicas de características de los pequeños medios de generación distribuida (o PMGD, de hasta 9 MW cada una), denominado Fondo de Inversión Rockville Solar Energy I. En conjunto, los PMGD sumarán una capacidad instalada de 145 MW para inyectar al sistema eléctrico nacional, lo que lo convierte en uno de los mayores fondos de inversión de su tipo.
